Putnam Animal Wellness, formerly, Animal Kingdom Spay/Neuter Clinic, is a well-established, low-cost veterinary clinic, dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care at a "reasonable" cost.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty practices when advanced diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and state-of-the-art dental equipment. We offer high-quality Spay and Neuter Clinics, Vaccine Clinics and Dental Services as well.
At Putnam Animal Wellness, we strive to offer optimal veterinary care, allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Dr. Michael Orban

Dr. Michael Orban
Dr. Michael Orban was born and raised in Queens, New York. Always curious about nature and wildlife, he dedicated his life to learning about animal science. Dr. Orban attended Adelphi University for his undergraduate education. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2004 and completed his clinical training at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine.
His professional interests include soft tissue surgery and dentistry as well as canine and feline internal medicine. He strives to provide affordable health care for animals and is passionate about decreasing the devastating effects of pet overpopulation.
Dr. Orban moved to the beautiful Hudson Valley in 2008. He lives in New Paltz, NY with his wife and son and two playful pets - a chihuahua and ferret. Dr. Orban's hobbies include hiking, cooking, photography, golf and most importantly, spending time with his loved ones.

Dr. Leslie John is a New York State licensed veterinarian with over 15 years in practice. Dr. John has held the title of Medical Director for the last eight years at a busy emergency hospital in the Hudson Valley. As the Medical Director, he has responsibilities not limited to establishing protocols, training and fostering a positive work environment.
Dr. John finds providing the necessary care to animals and comforting their owners very rewarding. He cannot ignore and is continually concerned with the plight of pets whose needs go unmet due to the often high cost of veterinary care. Dr. John is resigned to the long-standing goal of establishing a veterinary facility to provide the basic health care needs of pets at a fair price.
Dr. John received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in 2004. He lives in the beautiful Hudson Valley with his 15 yr. old cat Mr. Wiggles.

Becky Gasperino
Becky Gasperino is the clinic's Managing Technician. She has been working as a technician for nineteen years, and managing animal hospitals for the past five.
Becky has been here from the beginning, coordinating the part time Vaccine Clinic at Animal Kingdom since 2008. Now, as an established Low Cost Clinic, she has made the move to dedicate herself full-time. She loves being a part of such an amazing team of veterinary professionals who make a difference by offering high quality and compassionate care at affordable prices.
When Becky is not at work caring for pets, she is home caring for her own four rescue dogs, Marie a thirteen year old Border Collie Mix, Bella an eight year old Lab Mix, Layla a six year old Pit Bull and the newest family member Kaeya a two year old Pit Bull. Becky enjoys taking her crew for walks, runs, hikes or a swim at every free opportunity with the help of her daughter Caitlyn.
